Hot dogs, Heineken and 2012 @ The Britannia

If you hadn’t noticed ... then we’re not quite sure where you’ve been... but it’s nearly Olympic time and our lovely pub, The Britannia has been listed by Lonely Planet as one of the best places to go and eat during the games. How nice of them! You can read the article here. Not only that but the Guardian also recently tipped them as one of the top 5 pubs from which to watch the Olympics!

Throughout the Olympics, The Britannia will be showing the games on two large 50" screens. Added to which, the brand new East London Gourmet Hot Dog Co will be open alongside a fully fledged outdoor bar. The hotdogs will be out of this world. The menu includes such delights as The Antoinette, a Toulouse Pork sausage with smoked bacon, red onion, Dijon mustard and fresh Brie, and also The Chuck, which is a Pork and Maple Syrup Dog, topped with smoked bacon, Monterey Jack cheddar, dill pickles and mustard sauce. Sounds delish, no? Vegetarian choices are also available for those less meaty.

We are also giving you the chance to enjoy a Hot Dog and a pint of Heineken for just £7! Steal!

And, if you fancy pitching up in Victoria Park to watch the Olympics on the rather large outdoor screens, we’ll hand it all over in a portable version so that you can enjoy a beer and a dog whilst watching the games.
